Default A/C Vent Removal?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the 5 a/c dash vents on the 02 model T/A? i want to paint parts of them, but I don't want to break them trying to get them out. Thanks.

Easiest way I found to do it was to align them straight up and down, so the slider section is pointing up and down. Once you do that it's as easy as popping in a small flathead and gently caressing them out. Trust me, it's much easier than I make it sound
