question on raised lettering on my t/a
Ok my car is NBM and the guy i bought the car from put the white decals over the trans am lettering on the door. I was wondering if you think if i take them off if their will be any fade? The car has been garaged its hole life but also has over 70,000 miles on it and was as far as I know only drove on sunny days. I would like to take off the decals but im kind of scared to. I guess maybe i can very carfully pull one off and see how it looks in the sun. Also how would I get the glue off of the lettering without really hurting the paint? Im sure I can find a way but just curious on opinons.
should I just leave them or try to take it off I want it off but dont want any fade. I also have the ram air windshield banner im going to take off but maybe if I leave the door decals on it wont look bad if I leave it on? I personaly dont like this but am scared to attempt to take it off sorry for going on and on
thanks for your opinons

Yeah, I wouldnt worry about fading that much either.
And use a similar method as you would if you were removing the molding to take off the decals, except you wont need to use fishing line to get them off. Being vinyl you shouldnt have a problem with excess glue (typically...).
Good wash/wax after some goo gone and you'll be as good as new.
