Mothers 3 step system Cleaner wax/sealer&glaze/carnuba wax. I been using this and it brings the color out. And dont forget to claybar before waxing.

It can be found at any retail store. PEPBOYS,AUTOZONE,WAL-MART,DICOUNT AUTO PARTS.

Nothing brings deep reflections to dark car like a pure carnauba.

Seal up with any polymer, Meguiars NXT or Meguiars no. 20 or 21, and then add a nice thin layer of Meguairs no. 26.

You'll end up with a shine like this that looks like the car's soaking wet:

I use Mothers Claybar, Mothers cleaner wax, and then Meguiars Gold Class on my black 93 and the shine is still fantastic.

Use whatever you like as long as your process is correct. Wash, claybar, polish as needed, and wax/seal. I tend to prefer a sealant for metallics for some added flake "pop."

If its wax, then you should do a comparison between P21S, Pinnacle, or one of the Zymols to see which one brings the look that you expect.

i use blue coral, but you have to have a license to purchase it since its for industrial use only. but for consumer use i would suggest using a clay bar and then meg gold class. if thats not enough for you then you need to drive your *** to my shop in dallas texas. lol

Check out meguiarsonline.com.

Or this is how to do it.

1. Wash car. I use a micro fiber pad. Rinse
2. Claybar the car. I like to use fresh clean car soap. Its a better lube.
3. Rince/dry
4. In the shade start waxing. Use a good cleaner wax. It pulls out more dirt.
5. Use a sealer/glaze wax.
6. And last a wax/carnuba or your chioce brand. I like mothers or meguiars.
7. To remove use a micro fiber towel or a oribital buffer with terry or micro
fiber bonnet.
8. Use a micro fiber towel with quick detailer. DONE.

Whoa,

1. If you just claybar'd, there's no cleaner wax out there that will "clean" it further... Maybe a cleaning POLISH, yes... Or maybe a glaze with a PC.

2. If you use a glaze after the cleaner wax, it will do absolutely nothing. A glaze goes on directly to the paint, not on any topcoat sealant or wax.

3. If you use a high quality sealant before any cleaner wax instead of afterwards, it will cure more efficiently and create a more lasting bond... The sealant SHOULD ONLY be applied to clean, BARE paint.

4. Make sure you used a good sealant FIRST, because any layered pure carnauba wax you apply afterwards for shine could last, oh, maybe a couple of days.

Not true at all. I detailed my sisters old 2000 white celica and even after using the clay bar it still did not take out the dirt spots and drips that were gray in color but stained. BUT when using a cleaner wax it did remove those spots and drips and every other dirt left behind the clay bar didnt get. Even joking around i called it battleship gray and not white.

Then if a sealer/glaze/polish goes on first why is it step 2 in a 3 step process? And a cleaner wax is step 1 and a wax being step 3. And also the cleaner wax prepares the paint for a polish/sealer/glaze which brings the cars color out and the wax is to protect the cleaner wax/polish/wax clear coat and paint. If you use a sealer/glaze/polish first is just going to seal in the dirt the clay didnt get out the first time.

All this info is at meguiarsonline.com and many other detailing sites. I also detail professionally attended many classes and now doing on the side. I only use microfiber and orbitals.

IMO you will definitely need a paint cleaner after the clay. Claybars are designed to pick up the large particles off of paint. Paint cleaners address oxidation, old wax or sealant deposits and dirt that are imbedded into the paint.

I have had no problems with my carnauba finishes lasting awhile. The key is to maintain it by keeping the finish clean and replenishing the wax several times during a good season. If a finish left out in the sun and elements without being maintained, the surface will suffer and all of the shine and enhancement qualities would seem like its gone, but you will still have some wax left on the surface. Some sealants have proven themselves to be very durable in the harsh climates, but you can get good wearability out of a carnauba with care and maintenance.
