Default RK Sport CF Grille: How the hell to attach?

I know some have used 3M double stick tape, but I don't think that's going to work for me. The ends need pulled back in tight to look right. I don't want to drill a hole into the nice finish of the carbon fiber either. Even if I did use a screw to go back into the adjacent plastic, I'm not sure the crap plastic fasteners it came with would work... WTF????

they work, I bought a DMG one which is identical. You wil have to pre drill a hole in it. you wont be able to tell after its installed really.

When the paint shop took it back off, however they broke one of those plastic clips.

IF u dont end up using those plastic clips, let me know if u can ship them to me, ahha.

it slides into the tabs but needs the two screws in the side to make sure it doest move... i used black screws and u cant even tell they are there. I know the pic doesnt show them but I painted the kidney grills and screws holding that in, so you can kinda see how they blend in

That looks good - thanks. I just really hate the idea of drilling into this pretty piece I paid $200 for... I was hoping to get by with just the 3M tape, but the sides need to be pulled back in to sit properly.

I just installed mine and I had the same problem. I ended up using those shitty plastic push screws and they don't want to stay in. I'm going to have to come up with another solution tomorrow. I may use larger push clips and paint them black.
