Interior Detailing
I used Armorall wipes for a while but they dust so easily I tried the Maguires quick interior wipes and they don't do anything I was doing my interior and they would darken up my dash and like few mins later it would be all faded again anyone have any suggestions or super products they use for doing there interior?

I jump around on the dash and console cleaners and shiners. Ive been using an off brand of wipes made by Four Peaks, they are very nice. But Ill tell you what, If you've got leather, the new black magic cleaner/protectant wipes are the greatest. I have white leather and nothing will ever get them clean. These wipes did an awesome job! Id hate to see how dirty some of your grey and black leather seats really are, (where nothing shows up). They probally look clean but youd be suprised how dirty they really are.
ALSO: I get much better results when I use a cleaning wipe prior to using the protectant wipes.

I agree with Brian2006. I've always used Armor-All. Nothings ever cracked from regular use of it. Now neglet will crack your ****. Then again I won't use it on my wife's Mercedes. I'm gonna use something. Don't what yet but need to use something.

My buddy uses glass cleaner lightly sprayed on a rag.
Now the first time I saw him do this, I thought he was crazy, but it works and looks good. This is what the detailers at the GM dealership use.
He uses the Invisable Glass foam stuff. And I'm sure some guys are going to say that is crazy and stupid, but it works guys. His interior looks great, doesn't 'dust up'.

A buddy of mine went to Wyotech and he told me the Armorall has a chemical in it that if when you spray it, it happens to get on your paint its bad for your paint and will slowly over time damage the paint. I'm not sure what chemical he was talking about or if other cleaners have the same chemical but sense he said that I have always used Maguires interieor and leather wipes and my interior has always looked clean to me. No worries

Whether you use Black Magic or Armor All, the important thing to remember is proper technique. The reason you're getting so much dust with the Armor All is because you're using it wrong. Get yourself some soft microfiber towels (they're cheap now at Auto Zone) and use the AA the same way you use wax on the outside of your car: get a nice coat on the dash, then buff it. It won't shine as brightly (a good thing in my opinion) and it will stay cleaner MUCH longer. It also forces the AA or Black Magic into the material and helps protect it.

I've got a bottle of Armor All "Interior Formula" that I've been using for a long time. I'm not even sure if they still sell it that way. Originally, it was the "Low Gloss" formula (gray label, white spray bottle) and they changed it to the "Interior Formula" (black label, black spray bottle). It gives the dash (and other plastic trim) a deep luster as opposed to a "shine." Has a nice smell too, doesn't smell like regular AA.
