Is there a stock Firehawk hood that has the rounded shape of a raptor hood? Please post up your pics. Thanks.

Excellent. Can I buy this hood through GM and have it replace my existing hood. I've got a 2000 TA. I'd guess it should fit perfectly compared to many other after market hoods. Thanks.

The Firehawk hood will fit the fender lines and be good overall.... however you'll need to trim (2) tabs on the part of your bumper that the hood interfaces with.

It's not hard to do and any body shop (or you) can accomplish it with patience and a dremel tool.

There are threads that deal with this, but the search function hasn't been working normally the last couple weeks.

I like the Raptor hood too. But, I was concerned with quality and fitment issues?????? The Firehawk hood looks vey similar and I figured the hood should be a direct replacement with a perfect fit.

neither will be a direct fit, both hoods will have to have a section of the top of the bumper cut off to fit right.....

Superhawk hood IMO looks way better then the Raptor, almost the same as the firehawk except the superhawk is a little taller
