Default HID's in a TA.. Projector style..

Hey guys-

I am thinking about throwing some HIDs into the TA..

However, I don't want to be blinding Joe OnComing so I am thinking about fabricating up some mounts to hold some projector housings, which shouldn't be a big deal..

However, the question I have is.. Is there:

A.) A reliable set of ballasts and bulbs that everyone seems to like..
B.) Do said bulbs need any sort of cut-off modifications to keep Joe OnComing from being blinded?

Thanks guys..

Jeff

They certainly are the easiest to get and install and have decent output, but I'll admit that their output isn't as good as some others. I'm happy though.

Look in the Lighting FAQ.
There are two ZIPs filled with pictures in the post about my setup.
I forgot to take "before" pictures, but you can look at the fog light page on my site to kinda get an idea.

For the 1996 Firebird, you'd need b-xenon.
The Hella 90mm H9 projector is not bi-zenon.

There are pics of one setup in this thread (scroll down a bit, more on later pages too):

(link also available in the Lighting FAQ)

If I find more on early 4th-gens I'll post it.
