Default Pics of Before & after Delete of Side Moldings and "Trans Am"

Here are some before and after pictures. I decided to go for the cleaner look on my 00 TA WS6 and deleted the side moldings and the Trans Am lettering. Fairly easy to do, I just removed everything by sliding fishing line behind it. I then sprayed Goo-Gone on the adhesive where the Trans Am was. Goo-Gone will loosen it up and allow you to scrape it off with your fingers or a corse sponge. The adhesive on the side moldings will come off with just a Hair dryer and some elbow grease. It should just peel off when you heat it up. Anyways here are a few pics of it. Sorry about the last pic, my brother decided he wanted to try and give my car a little tongue.

Yeah, its just personal preference, I guess. Its just one thing that makes my car unique compared to the other TA's running around town. To be honest with you, most people will never even notice, but I am very meticulous with the details of my car.

Just curious, why did you decide to put them back on? I know some people worry about door dings. I really don't worry about door dings, since I park one mile away from any place I am going to. My girlfriend hates it, cause every time we go somewhere we have to park a mile away and walk a good distance.

Looks good! I personally would have left the 'TransAm' on, but I don't know if that would look goofy or not...

I like the red bird, but it aint my car so do what you think looks good!

I like the last pic..."Tasty!"

I want to do this mod but my passenger side skirt is fucked up.

Bought the car with a somewhat crushed/dented rocker panel and i had to build a bracket to hold the skirt on temporarily....and i keep spending my money on mods/wheels/etc

Im afraid no side moldings would bring too much attention to the side skirt.

No side moldings look great especially on red cars for some reason, gives it more of a "Vette" look.

Heres my problem:
