OK, I did a search and all, but I can't find any nice, rounded cowl hoods for a 98+ Firebird/ Trans Am. I found pics if the Superhawk hood and at first glance thought I found the light at the end of the tunnel. However, when I looked closer I see the indent in the middle, and I don't care for the Raptor-style large scoop openings...the heat extractors were a sweet touch, but this isn't the hood I see in my visions. More or less what I want is a plain cowl hood (that rounds up like that Formula/V6 'flat' hood) raising 3" but definately not having vertical sides. Am I gonna have to make my own? Could it be done to lay fiberglass mat over a OEM steel hood? How would such a procedure be done? Thanks. Swat
