Default so lets say i want blue gauges in my 2000 z28 camaro

Ive been trying to read up on what to do but im really lost.

From what i understand i need to buy an overlay so I found this

http://www.procarparts.com/store-det...93TA%2D1463RGX
now that wont actually change the cluster to a white face will it cause i want to keep it black, but just with blue lights instead.

so assuming it goes inside and doesnt change the color of the cluster to white, what else needs to be done besides this to make the gauges show as blue(im aware the odometer takes a different process)

Im sorry im so lost on this idea. Any help is appreciated as im completly dumb when it comes to installing LEDs so im trying to avoid that if possible

theres a sponser on here that says led for the stock gauge cluster. you can get them in white blue red and green i think. check it out in the sponsor list. ledgauges.com or something like that

No man! dont get an overlay, that is a pain in the ***. And I also would NOT recommend the sponsor that the person above mentioned. Send me a PM and I will hook you up with what you need and where to get it! send me a personal message if you are interested

dont get overlays, just take apart the gauge cluster and replace the bulbs with whatever color LED you want. i did mine in blue and i love it because i have stock gauges that still light up like aftermarket at night

Even with overlays there is still more film behind the factory cluster. The only way that would work completely to its potential is if you replaced the entire face.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REPLACE YOUR STOCK BULBS WITH HYEPERWHITE (pure white) BULBS AND IT WILL BE BLUE!!!

The stock film is blue but looks green because the crappy stock bulbs are yellow (yellow + blue = green). Replace them (for a total cost of under $10 off of ebay) and you're good to go !
