Default Pics of my new SS

I picked it up last sunday but it spun a bearing monday so the only pics I have are in my driveway. Ive been on the site for a while but now Im finally worthy haha
its a fully loaded 2001 SS with longtubes borla and a lid

Not too bad looking for a 115k car some one needs to buy the third gen in the 2nd pic so I can pay off the cost of the repairs
so far my plans are to do a black manta and berger and ''possibly'' a dynotune wet kit now that the motor will be fresh and thats it until she is payed off

are you sure the bearing wasnt spun when you bought the car? either way, thats a sick car, nice purchase.

Yea Im sure it wasnt spun I drove it 340miles home then it spun the next day it was a recently replaced short block out of an 01 ws6

Yea 1st got hydrolocked and threw a rod and a week later this one spun a bearing
what a way to introduce me to LS1's huh At least this time I know it will be done right and should last for at least 200k, Being built by one of the best in my area

good luck with the car.. it looks killer, love the red SS's.

my car did almost the same thing. spun a bearing after few hundred miles, so i understand how you feel

noe it the time to build a realy hot motor

I wish I could get something badass for her but all I can afford right now is a stock internal 347 it sux, now would be the perfect time

If I were you man, and you had another car, save up for a little and built it right. I did the same thing with the car and the sig and I really wish I would have at least got rods and pistons. It won't cost too much more and much better than the stockers! Great lookin car though, looks almost identical to my friends, minus the SLP grll and it being stock ride height.

yea if you have somehting else to drive right now why not save up for a month for a couple little but worth while mods while the car is apart? Looks goos tho for the mileage...well from what i can see

the car needs rods, pistons, crank, oil pan, pump, and lifters Its going to be a basic 347
