NEED HELP on finding a hood A Ram Air hood (( like the t/a )) for the 01 camaro .. I found that carhoods.com sells them but they are hand made and don't come prepped and ready to paint, also they are not warranted .... so i need help

do us all a favor and dont do it.. haha.. just my .02.. if you really like the ram air like a ta... trade the camaro for a ta bud. unless youre really talking about maybe a ultra z or mecham hood, then thats another case.. hope you find what youre looking for

dont ruin the Camaro with that hood, go buy a ws6......lol, but if you really want to get made fun of and have people telling you how the lame the hood is all the time then I think they are all over ebaymotors. Just type "Camaro hood" and I think a bunch of stuff comes up.....and I mentioned the stuff above as a fair warning.....dont be offended

Sorry to say it man, but this ^^ is the reaction you WILL get from about 95% of F-body enthusiasts/lovers.....just giving you warning. There are SOOO many hoods out there that can set your car apart from others, and they look much better than the one you want.....

what do you think about the z hood with the 4 port heat extractors? i kinda like that one....

lmk, i'm so confused and my car is getting painted next week and i need to find a hood and i don't want the ss hood, also i'm supposed to be getting black stripes, my car is pearl white, iuno how to do the stripes on that hood i showed you, i was thinking of puttin the stripes AROUND the port kinda like the ss hood ^^^^ ??? lmk

to be honest, i think the warbird (ram air) hood looks REALLY bad on camaros that dont have gfx of some sort. the lines just dont flow right.
i have it on my car, with the RS kit and it looks a lot better imo.
i dont have any better pictures unfortunately.

Take a look at the Z Style Hood we have on Group Purchase special right now. It's a good looking hood and suits the lines of the Camaro much better. There is a thread about the pricing etc in the Sponsor Section or check our web site.

..........and I laughed at a guy who said he had raced a "WS6 Camero" on a thread here on LS1Tech..... I guess its true........ there's people who convert them..... hahahaha
