black SS: what stripe/decal kit? Ive just added a SLP SS hood and spoiler to my z28 and im wondering what kind of scheme i should do? If anyone could post of pics of their black SS with thier setup that would help alot. Im pretty much stuck. I like the manta stripe setup, but i dont know what color to do! I like the 35th ann. stipe kit too, and i like the sunoco side stripe as well. Maybe i should just go with a subtle look and just add a hp rating or cubin inch on the hood scoop? How bout grand sport stripes!? i like them all!!! lol help me out guys

silver or white manta (w/ stripe continued on the hatch), or silver or white solid 35th anniversary stripes (no checkers). the fender stripes look lame to me....pointless

lol, grand sport stripes are pointless? Had them on my car but i had to take them off for the paint job, i just did it cause it was cheap and easy

damn that manta is growing on me! its so freaking cool looking, and yet it is still subtle....a manta with a HP rating on the side like the one posted above will be PERFECT. I seriously think you should go with that, you wont regret it...dont get me wrong I LOVE my racing stripes (painted), but they will cost you more, and are attention ******. not that that is a bad thing. I seriously get compliments on my car every single day from complete strangers because of its uniqueness. So I guess it depends on how much attention you want, and what you think looks better overall.......

stick with your color scheme and you'll keep it lookin great! if you've got some red then go with the red berger/SLP style stripes black and red gets my vote but if you know my car you know why

im not a real big fan of mantas or the 35th stripes. i really like the dick harrel stripes though. i will prob go with something similar to that later on. the red manta on a black car does look good though, as long as its not a bright red, some really dark reds would look good.
