Default Help front fender looks bad

i need help guys where my Z28 emblem is the bottom panel sticks out a little. when i bought it was already like that but now it bothers me. i think its from when they would take off the wheels they would place the jack under there. does anyone know how to pop it back so it can be flush with door?

You can just unbolt the bottom of the fender from the car and pry the bracket back where you need it.

You will see whats wrong when you unbolt the bottom of it. I did this to mine as well when I replaced the fender, the previous owner jacked it up there and actually broke a huge piece off the bottom of the fender.

Unbolt the fender and hammer the metal piece back in place. I had to do it to both sides on my car.

the metal bracket that hold it in place is bent or broke. A very simple fix. Lay it on a flat surface and beat the bloody hell out of it. Also it is becuase you curbed your car, or it was jacked from there. Also, a plastic fender flexes and is affected by heat which causes it to warp over time and adds to the problem. Like he said above, take it off and youll see whats wrong. Very simple to fix.

I had the body shop bend mine back when I was having them do some other things. Its not perfect, but a lot better than before. The bottom is flush, but its not in the middle. Maybe just because it was bent out for so long and formed that way?

When i got my exhaust installed they did it to mine too. Just take a hammer and hammer the bottom part back in, just be careful.

heat it up before you bend it back to prevent it from breaking.

I don't trust anyone to work on my car for this very reason. You pretty much have to watch over them like a hawk to make sure they are jacking it up correctly.

I try to take my car to ls1tech sponsors when I can't do the work myself so I won't have to even worry about people jacking it up by the fender.

I think i used a crow bar and a sledge haha looks brand new now. ^^^ +1 to that. The worst thing is when you get something fixed at the shop and you get it back with something else wrong
