Default T/A Vent Gauges

I know some people have put Gauges in there Dash board vents in the middle of T/A dash, my question is what gauges are you using and what size maybe part numbers for the A/F etc.... i would like to go with black face gauges or C/F. can anyone supply pics?

You can look in my sig for pics. I'm using 2 5/8 Autometer Sport-Comp guages.

Once you pop out the vents, the 2 5/8" guages fit perfectly in the hole. You just make sure they are straight and lined up, and push them in. It is a snug fit, and once there in, htey are a PITA to get out. But just look at the end result.

Ya i know they look clean. I am just wondering how much of a pita it is to install them there compared to a piller?

mobe gauges look sweet. nice werk. look as if they belong there. nice selection of gauges matches perfectly!

They are not hard at all.... there is foam between the dash and the vent grill...... pull out your deck and its alot easier to get to it........ Heres a pic of mine.... 2 5/8 boost gauge... its not pushed in all the way and they just slide right in...

Mobe, since your in austin Im guessing in the summer it gets almost just as hot as it is in san antonio.

How bad is the AC affected by doing this? I was going to do all three vents in the center but then AC cooling is a major concern.

Its not that bad. I drive around w/ the windows down alot in the summer time. On those really hot, 100*+ days, the other 2 vents put out enough air, for me anyway.
