Default Re upholstered t-top headliner

I'm going to be doing a t-top conversion soon and the headliner I got was the dark Grey so I recovered it today with tan headliner material that's almost the same color as my interior. Never knew you could go out and buy the padded material at the local fabric store. So about $16 for the material and $10 for the 3M spray glue and a about 1/2 hour of work and it looks brand new.

Came out better than I expected since it was my first time, but not as good as I wanted it. Kinda cut the material too close to the fold at the curves in the middle so I'm afraid it may come out after a while ... I'll just re-re-do it then .. lol

3m spray adhesive will likely release after awhile.

well, you might get away with it since it is a t-top headliner and there is little material to hold up. The stuff I use is an industrial grade adhesive from 3M. I went to school for custom upholstery.

I have used the 3M on fabric and it lost its stickiness. I used it with vinyl on a speaker box and it is still holding up. It wasn't industrial grade though.
