I love how they look....I've had a few people flash me though because they are so intense. I bought the H4 kit and bought the housings separately....I've got about $250 in the complete conversion. I'm going to do the conversion to the fog lamps next because they look like **** yellow compared to the HID's.

They are flashing you because of the glare the oncoming drivers are receiving. My setup has a slight amount of glare above the main cutoff but it's nowhere near what a projector housing will do ....exact reason why I'm attempting a bixenon projector conversion in the next couple weeks.
Putting HID in a reflector housing will produce glare and send too much light upwards (especially into the eyes of oncoming drivers).
Projectors will focus and spread HID light much more evenly and accurately where it is needed (without glare and not in the eyes of oncoming drivers).

Thanks for the cleanup of my somewhat non-coherent post. I was getting out of work and rushing out the door and squeezed the post in before I left.
As VIP1 said, a HID projector is the way to go. HIDs in reflector housings can sometimes do ok, but thats where it ends.
Awaiting pics.
