Default WTB Underhood mirrors

Hi,

I am thinking of getting underhood mirrors for my 01 WS6.
I hear the acrylic ones don't stay looking so good for long. Does anyone know where I can get some that will last well?

Many thanks,

Paul.

Okay, so I guess either all mirrors are made of acrylic, or are there just no others available?

I thought I could always get some cut locally, should be cheaper, or will these peel/distort?

I guess a sheet of polished stainless is gonna cost $$$$$$ if I try and make my own?

Just some thoughts....

Thanks for the replys and the link.

I do not own some, but I read another member had some that went bad / not look so good.
He thought it may have been the heat.

tylergarceau how long have you had yours, and do you drive it often/far?

I use them, I had them cut for mine. I just use velcro to put them up at shows and take them down when done for the day. Its fast and easy.

I have a 2001 TA, and I have had the mirrors under my hood for 6 years. I do not take them out since I attached them with 2 sided tape. They still look great and I get compliments on them all the time.
