Default Need Underhood Detail Ideas

I am kind of at a loss of what to do next, or to just stop. I have a set of coil covers from a vette that I could smoothe and paint. They would hide the MSD coils... The other problem is the intake and valve covers do not match body color, so I am not sure if any contrast there.

I don't want to spend a whole lot, but any paint work I can do so it is cheap. One thing I was thinking about is the underhood insulation bowtie painting.... Oh, and I have polished the blower plenum like the a/c thing...

Maybe Polish MAF, and i think i saw someone with some stainless braided fuel lines. That would look nice.

I think FRC's would look good on it, either that or coil relocation brackets, and nice valve covers.. and stainless steel covers..

i think it looks good how it is, you wouldnt want to over do anything though, but the coil covers would look nice.

An idea I've been tossing around is painting the backs of the headlights. Thats an area people often overlook, but done right it makes it look that much cleaner IMO.

coil relocation and then turn your attention to the valve covers. your car is a '98 and would have perimeter bolt valve covers, assuming you have stock heads on your supercharged engine. if you have the stock valve covers, unlikely as it may be, i would rough them up a little and apply a black wrinkle finish to them. i did that to the valve covers on my '01 and they came out great. you can also have the valve covers polished. that would probably go well with your other polished items under the hood.

Just did that myself this weekend while doing the whistler mod, IMO it does look a little more matched to the front end components than just the soon faded stock look

No carbon fiber. The valve covers are already smoothed and painted matching the intake. I like the headlights painted!!!! I may have to do that!

I do also need to move the grounds...

Polish the ABS unit and the lines. And clean up the brake reservoir.
