Default Niteshade Questions

alright so i tracked down some niteshade finally..took me all day..but anyway i plan on using it on my taillights, 3rd brake light and rear side markers tomorrow and will do the front markers later. im gonna get some dupli color clear to go over it. how many coats did you guys use? i want it to be dark but still visible so i dont get pulled over or rear ended. ive been told that 3 should be good. but what do you guys think?

Well this is niteshades & not hobby tint.

I only used 3 coats of the niteshades & its plenty dark. I honestly wouldnt want it any darker. And for clear I used the Duplicolor truck/suv automotive clear coat. I did 5 coats of it.

Never been pulled over, you can still see them just fine & I did the niteshades each coat while tacky & then cleared after the VHT completely dried.
