Someone's going to give me a quick answer on this, I know that...I can't remember who makes a certain aftermarket LS1 Trans Am hood, anyone know it?

It looks 100% factory WS6 up front, but has an ever so SLIGHTLY larger cowl area out back. You almost wouldn't even notice it wasn't a stock WS6 hood unless you really keep looking.

I want one but I can't for the life of me remember who's hood it is. I checked VFN and Suncoast Creations, nada. And I know it's not the Moore Performance hood, although I like that one too.

Anyone know??

Theirs seems to be exactly like the stock WS6 hood, not really any difference in back of the hood.

not sure dude sure fvn doesnt have it i thought at one time they made one with a taller cowel or maybe it was us exotics that made it? search on them and see if anything comes up

isnt Suncoast's WS6 or 9 hood supposed to be a little bit bigger? I know USE WS9 Outlaw is bigger but it also has hear extractors.

This is the WS9 hood from u.s. exotics. Im pretty sure the made this hood as a WS9 outlaw that had a cowl. I think they quit makeing them though. Email him. He is a nice guy and probly would make you one!

Suncoast is the one your looken for thats want mine is and it looks bigger and better than a stock hood i think.

The hood you pictured is 100% for sure VFN. That is the hood you want, fit finish and quality next to none

U sure? I didn't see it on their site at all. None had the same blended lines at the back of the hood like that. It has a smooth "swoosh" thing going at the side of the cowl towards the back.

I think you hit the nail on the head...the more I search, the more it looks like that's the hood. It has more subtle outlines around the nostrils and the same cowl look. I hadn't heard of this company until you mentioned it, but I think you're right!

Now I have to find someone with a nicely painted black one who wants to trade for an OEM WS6 hood.
