Default Typical Price of a Good Paint Job?

I am in the early stages of planning to repaint my 2000 TA. I have been researching different body shops and talking to people that have had either custom paint jobs or just a complete repaint. I want a OEM quality paint job or possible a custom paint job with a complete color change. Chime in one what you think in your experience would be some expected prices.

Thanks.

color change will cost you several K, a straight repaint will probably run you anywhere from 1500-3k depending on paint

three to five grand for repaint and seven or more for a color change.
