i've been watchin ebay browsing cardomain and here and cant find one. a guy here in topeka had one a few years back and i've been lookin for one since then. anybody have pics of one?98-02 please

If you're talking about getting a Bright Purple Metallic they are pretty rare. There were only 12 built and only in 98.

There's one for sale in GA somewhere. Look up zip code 30076 and do a search within 500 miles and you'll see plenty of pics of a hideous looking car!

correction there were 98 built in 98 same with bright green metallic and sport gold metallic.

I have seen the gold color on a guy's Trans Am that I used to go to school with in NC. I thought it looked pretty nice.

That T/A is not that hideous TARV. Looks decent to me and i'm not really a fan of purple.

I know the guy with the one for sale on auto trader. It is a nice ride and tastefully done. It originally had the taupe interior and he did the complete swap out for the ebony. Turned out quite nice.

yup! the rest were trans am ws9s. then there were a few firebirds that got that color treatment but still pretty rare. I'd love to find a v6 one and turn it into a T/A but I don't have the $ for that right now.

These are the numbers for Bright Purple Metallic on Firebirds.

Total production = 462

V6 fixed roof cars = 260
V6 ragtops = 20
Formulas = 26
Trans Am = 84 (10 with WS6 package)
Trans Am ragtop = 42 (2 with WS6 package)
