Default IDEA: guages where heat vents are.....

alright guys... i was watching a video of a transam at the track and it had an inside shot of it......... i looked at the heat vents for some reason???(dont ask why?) but anyways.....

what if you popped out your heat vents... you know the middle three above the radio and stuff... instead of putting them to the left where everyone puts them... i think they should fit in there pretty good...

anybody tried this or seen pictures of it... or what it would take (im not inclined with this kind of stuff)

i just thought this would really make that middle section a lot better.. kind of like a vette??? i dont know...

TELL ME WHAT YOU GUYS THINK! yes or no?? and why not?

like 2348723948234 people have done this....and its pretty damn cool of course you sacrifice a little function of the HVAC but its a clean way to install gauges. thats for sure. check out the sponsor speed inc...they came out with a mounting bezel that makes this possible without fabrication. i say do it

Yeah you can use the spacer on the 2 1/18" gauges like 32of32 showed you, or the 2 5/8" which fit the vents perfectly...although the selection for the bigger gauges isn't the greatest.
