Default Looking to Install new Tint....

The old tint has started to bubble real bad on my 98 formie hatch. I was wondering if there was any trick to getting the old tint off as some places charge to remove old tint before adding the new tint. Also, I wanted to see if there was a trick to removing the old tint as to not disturb the defrost lines that might stick to the old tint. I have heard of sticking an soap/water drenched trash bag to the tint and letting the heat of the sun work its magic as I live in Tx. Does that really work? Suggestions? TIA

Is that all they charged you? They got it off without taking the defrost lines out?

I just pulled mine off my front windows in one big chunk. If it was a good tint/film (minus the bubbles) you shouldnt have any problems on the rear hatch, just take your time with the defrost lines.
