Repairing leather seats
I had another thread but i have no idea where that went. But these are the two rips i have in my leather. the first one is on my drivers seat and the second the passanger. How does one go about fixing these?

Is your leather in good condition, other than those rips???
If its all dried out, hard, and about to split at the seams, then you really need to get the whole seat recovered.
Talk to a reputable upolstery shop. They'll give you a straight honest answer, better than what most people could tell you here.

the leather is obviously 8 year old seats, in a convertable, that have probably never been taken care of by the previous owner. they are a little dried out and starting to get little cracks esp up in the sholder areas. BUT, i'm pretty shure without these rips continuing i can get another year or two out of them before they start looking bad. SO looking for some way to make em hold out another year or so.

I can't find anything on catskins on google. And by inserts do you mean just the perforated part in the middle of the seat? thats where all my damage is.
I started looking closer and its looking like the whole seat bottom is going to give out soon
