Clear corner info needed.
Do I need to disable my DRLs? Heard a few of you running into the clears melting. Also what is a proven good clear that has not melted if one exist.

I have changed over to LEDs, but the brightness suffers. Check out my thread: here.
Good luck.

The DRL's cause BOTH the stock and Clear corners to melt.
The wattage of the DRL is just too hot. If you disable the DRL's you'll be fine with any type of lens.
The aftermarket lenses warp a little quicker due to the plastic being a little thinner.
LED's work too, but unfortunately the way an LED is made the "bulbs face down, not forward, so the illumination is a little dim.

How are you guys disabling the DRLs?
What about relocating the bulb mounts, so that forward facing LEDs will work?

Relocating the bulb mount could work, never investigated that route.
