LS6 (painted) installed today! *pics*
Well, I've just installed my LS6 intake today. It was "forum bought" and I painted it in my spare time. I went with the gloss black since I plan to do color-matched FRC's.
This was my first intake install- took my time and NO OIL PRESSURE SENDER BROKEN! In my research on the forums here, I kept seeing everyone having that problem. My issue was that I couldn't find (or maybe didn't look hard enough) a picture of where this stinkin sending unit is in relation to the intake.
So, here you go....

I've got some other ideas I think I might pursue along with Fuel Rail Covers. I would like to clean up the battery area and fuse boxes on the other side. To do this, I'm considering fabricating a sheet metal cover for both sides. Just keep watch in the posts for it, you'll see.
I fab'd up a flip-out I-pod dock for my center console outta aluminum. This shouldn't be much harder....
Hell, wutam I sayin- I still haven't finished my speakerboxes in the hatch! Made a beautiful pair of 12" sub boxes outta MDF with cleavage like my hood. My intentions were/are to fiberglass a horseshoe in the hatch around the boxes and color a charcoal metallic to pop with the interior.
Guess I'll have to flip a coin......
Thanks for the feedback all!

Oh, and don't forget to mask it off first- all holes (bolt and injector) and openings. I used an exacto knife to keep it precise. Just take your time. It'll be worth it.
