Default That corroded look of aluminum...

I have an LS1/4L60e awaiting to be transplanted into my '63 Nova. It's been sitting around for some time, apparently outside for awhile before being purchased, and eventually resold to me. It's a good motor, a little over 20,000 miles and cranks out some good HP on the dyno. Unfortunately, the aluminum has a corroded appearance. Is there anything available to give it a newer appearance?

Thanks,

Ed

Eagle One Mag wheel cleaner. You can find it at most auto parts stores. It`s for uncoated aluminum. Just don`t spray any rubber or plastic parts with it. It`s basically a mixture of acids. Good stuff
