Default Aftermarket Shifter **** and Front Plate cover pics...

Finally got my Shifter **** and adaptor from Afterthoughtsauto and I have to say I am thouroughly impressed by the quality. Also got a pic with my front plate cover on that I got on ebay. Sorry for the crappy quality of the pics they are from my phone. And the bird on the shifter is actually silver not reddish looking like in the pic.

Is there a certain writeup on how to cut it down?? I mean, I could just get a saw or whatever, but I'm pretty sure theres a way to do it properly.

There's a 'how-to' in the stickies section at top of page on how to cut down shifter and/or install shift boot
