I am going to give you the cliff notes version.

Remove headlights
Remove 4 clips on the headlights
Warm up your oven to 200 degrees
Put one light in at a time for 15 minutes
Use thin flat head screw driver to seperate the lens from the body, by working it around the lens. Then pull is apart.
Repeat for other headlight.
Mask off the areas not to be painted.
Scuff the areas you want to paint/use 1500 or 2000 grit.
Paint with your color of choice, black is most guys opinion is the best...others have done white, red, etc...
Reinstall lights.

Pop off the 4 metal clips on each light. Stick your headlights in a pre-heated oven around 225* for 20 minutes. Get a butter knife or something to help pry apart if the glue didn't melt enough, or put it in the oven some more. You might break off a little but of the lip of the light, but don't worry, I did it on mine and my friends..hah

Then sand the light only the part to be painted, tape off the inside of the light like the guy has pictured up there ^^

Just put some new sealant on the light, and put the metal clips back on.

Oh, and only one 1/2" bolt holds each headlight.

Also, unlike max, I painted the ribbed section on the light. Most people paint that and it's ok to do it...as long as you don't paint the back reflectors!

Not long, but you can't rush it. Took me around 1.5hr and this includes baking, masking and drying.

That looks awesome!!! I wanna do mine but im scared that when i mask off the inside, the mirror finish will stick to the tape. I saw someone do that and had to buy new headlight housings.
