Default I finally did the !wire mod

before:



stage 1(delete wires on fender):



stage 2 (delete hood latch and two grounds):




stage 3 (delete Traction control, installed optima red top):

wow i need to do this to mine too! u need two grommets for when u come back up out of the fender well, right? do u have any pics of where u came back in by the battery? or can u link me to a write up on this? looks great man, good work

thanks for the compliments...lemme edit this with the thread, but i only needed one grommet because when you enter the fender in the front (by the battery) its a large open area already.

heres the thread, he actually linked it to another page where he had it. You dont need the 19mm socket, not sure what it was for but i bought one and never used it. also, the uni-bit isnt needed either, but you can add this grommet to that parts list because its perfect.

dam i really wanna do this! it looks great! much more clean! so do you just un plug the wires in the middle, route them to the bottom, and reconnect?

r any of the connectors similar and warrant marking or remembering, or is it pretty idiot proof in reconnecting? also where did u get the industrial velcro and the hole saw, just any hardware store?

looks good, now ya gotta hide the hood latch cable on the driver side so both sides are clean and wire-free!

i got all supplies needed from lowes except the grommet that i got from pep boys.

all wires are unique, its pretty idiot proof, but then again, I am an electrical engineer, so its hard to know how idiot proof it is.

yes,. i need to still get that ground on the drivers side and the hood latch cable, but those arent a big deal.

already did the AIR, my car didnt have EGR, its an 01, and i think you mean TCS...that thing is a pain to relocate, i think ill leave it.

This is a great mod which really cleans up the look under the hood. I did this to my T/A and loved it.

looks good. i did it awhile back and it makes such a difference. hood latch cable cleans up the other side
