I recently bought a little stick on LED light that is from lowe's and works great. I just stick it on the bottom of the hood and its bright, I use a small piece of velcro and use it for night time cruise-in/shows.. they have them in many colors and are about 4". It runs on batteries and you just push the lens in to turn it on and off. 2 AA Batteries last forever. I bought red so you don't hardly even notice it. running some wired LED's would work but this seems easier and didn't want something left under the hood all the time.

I used (4) of the 6" red neon lights that you can buy at PepBoys under my hood.

(1) is mounted hidden under my STB above and at the rear of the engine

(1) is mounted hidden at the front of the engine behind my Volant CAI box

(1) is mounted to inner fender panel hidden down lower on DS

(1) is mounted to inner fender panel hidden down lower on PS

Some places I used screws, others I used tie wraps. Wired them all together to a hidden switch under the hood so they all light at the same time.

At night, and with all the chrome, polished stainless steel, and the underhood mirrors - it looks excellent - use them only at night car shows...

if you're just getting the little small LED's from the auto parts store, you'd just have to wire them all together, find yourself a 12 volt power source and a ground and wire it to the switch, in a nutshell. i've wired up a fan switch with an LED and I think that's just what i did.. i don't know anything about wiring really..

PHP Code:
That would look greatHow do you wire all of them up to a switch?
Run positive wire from fuse box to switch, tie all the positive wires from every light together and run that wire to other pole on switch, tie all negative wires from lights together and run to good ground.

I have no pics as it is fairly hard to get a good picture with digital camera at night - right now car is in storage for winter under cover...

I do underhood hidden LED setups. Great fun at evening shows! Thr front ones light up behind the headlights down onto the intercoolers.
