Does someone have pictures of the red
front turn signals-running day lights (not side markers) of a Trans Am? Are they Legal? I just want to see how they look because i just ordered some. even if they aren't legal as long as they look nice on the TA.

Not legal. Red is only allowed on the back of the car. At least in ohio if you have red flashing on the front you can get in trouble for "imitating an emergency vehicle"

what do you mean trouble, like a ticket and thats it? cuz i have it in my car, some hd police interceptor strobe lights!!! and i'm not looking to get into some serious ****. any other color allowed on the front???

Check your state laws, but ohio says nothing but yellow/amber and white in front.

Lots of things are illeageal! Just dont get cought and maybe disable your DRLs so that there not on all the time, just used as blinkers

I had did this on my bird about a year ago. just switched out the 1157 amber bulbs for red ones. I can honestly say it looks kick ***, cept my turn signal lenses are cracked so it kept letting water seap in and blow the bulbs. And get this.. I put ambers back in and they never blow, only if Im drivin in a HEAVY down pour its possible but rare, but every single time I put red bulbs in after 1 or 2 rain storms they will blow.. after 3 sets at 6 bucks a pop I finally said screw it and stuck with amber.

I do think in EVERY US state that ambers are the only color your allowed to have. Pretty much when a car comes from factory then thats what you gotta have because Factory Specs are Law Bideing Specs. But you know the routine.. Laws are made to be broken and usually are

my friend got in trouble just for using his PA system, they said imitating a police officer, yea in a big lifted ford truck. cant imagin what they would do if you had lights.

They tried to pin that crap on me in my military truck..ive got a weather alert(PA system) and it went off during a tornado watch while i was in walmart so I come out to find them telling me I was harrassing girls at the gas station... bastards

thanks guys! any pics of red or blue on a red trans am i know blue in a black cars looks nice but blue on red t/a??? im going to put a hidden switch to cut off the power of the strobe lights just in case i get stopped by the police cuz my switch is always visable

I fogged over my corners on my old truck and durango with candy apple red i got from the model car section in walmart, and then cleared it. It turned out really good, and looked a little red compared to the old amber, but not much. Had it on there for 2 years and haven't had any trouble yet.

I know Ive seen someone do it with white but never red or blue for park lamps
