Default wire mod

I know there is a way to do the wire mod without cutting the wires, but I've checked all the boards and I can't seem to find it. Does anybody know if there is a writeup on this?

Hey, I do what I can

Just drill a HUGE hole closer to the loom and run them through.. the basic idea is same

The cutting is easy.. its the putting back together thats tough!! (no really though)

didn't you use an egg as a template??? :p

Andy is right.. just large enough to fit a connectory though.. if you have mad electrical skills then you could attempt to remove the factory connector and re-attach it..

Thanks for the info, I keep looking at it and I thought all I would have to do is drill a large enough hole, I just wanted to make sure I got the hole in the right place, don't think the fender would look good with that swiss cheese look.

Just buy two connectors and make your own harness. Unplug the factory and plug in your new harness.

PLEASE tell me where to get these connectors

I have been searching for a LONG time, with no luck. That is what i would like to do, "plug and play"

I believe they are Metri-Pack connectors. but i can not find any places that sell them, the local dealer tells me to buy 4 wiring harnesses.... i laugh at them.

Ryan.
