Brand of tint?
I had my tint done in limo a few weeks ago. I absolutely love the privacy, but from the outside of the car, the tint has a sort of green/mirror look to it. This looks very bad on my black camaro. I talked to the guy who did it and he told me that it's a much higher quality tint bc it has metal in it that makes it a darker shade of limo. Either way, I want it redone immediately. Does anybody know of a brand of tint that i could tell a tint place to put on. I want it to look black! NOT AT ALL reflective! Thanks

Man, sorry to hear this... You probably know right off that any excuse for the green tint is absolute bullshit. You tint your windows to be DARKER/BLACK, not ******* COLORED. I know it may require you to be a total bitch but I'd get your money back or at least have them use a different product. They should have told you about this green effect. Sigh.

i use the 2.5% "Urban Tint" from walmart. has lasted for years and never turned purple or peeled off. and its pitch black. it would take alot to see through it a little.

No it doesn't have to be green. Seems like the standard black metallic film is Madico Onyx. Anyway I'd be curious to see a picture of the green tint before you take it off, and maybe you could ask the guy what kind of tint it is (brand/%).
