Default Finished up my interior upgrades!! Pics

I finally got to button up my console today and well as some of my recent interior mods.
Shifter Boot, Ebrake Boot, and Armrest cover from RedlineGoods.com (for anybody wondering its black leather, which matches the ebony very well, and silver stitching)
Push Button Start(s2000 button)
Embroidered Headrests from Grant
Antenna Override Switch(because I listen to CDs 95% of the time, plus its another excuse for a switch)
Custom TCS plate from ThirdShiftStudios

Im very happy with everything as I wasnt trying to go overboard and have stuff stick out like a sore thumb or have contrasting colors.
I think as far as im concerned thats it for the interior expect for maybe some embroidered floor mats and one for the top hatch area.

I noticed last night that the "Engine Start" writing on the button lights up when at least the parking lights are on. It is fairly dim but also noticable and its also the same red as the gauges.

Switch off(antenna down, kinda blurry)

Switch On(antenna up, Red LED which matches the interior gauges)

Dont think just DO IT haha...but yea I spent about 55 bucks on the engine start/relay/connectors and it is def. worth it. Everyone says its pointless because it makes the starting process longer and blah blah blah, but I like it for the cool factor and plus I have to turn the TCS off too right after I start it anyways

Just follow that write up thats posted up here somewhere and your wont have any problems.

Looks good. The only thing i dont like is how the console is wrapped with leather and it no longer lines up perfectly with the rest of the console being its a little larger. Other than that it looks great.

Yea that was one of my concerns too. I see your an A4, which my thinking is that in order for the starter to "turn over" it would have to be in park with the brake applied. As for me I would think it would only "turn over" if I had the clutch pressed in. I havent had the ***** to test my thinking but im sure it will happen sooner or later haha.

It seems like if you wanted you could install a regular on/off toggle switch that is in line between the ACC wire(pink) I believe and the push button. I think this would be able to cut power to the button so that it wouldnt turn over.
