ls1 to lt1 front end I am about to buy an lt1 camaro, but it unfortunately has the 98+ front end. I want it to match, so could i make money on doing the switch back to an lt1 front end? how much work is it? are there a lot of people that could possibly want to trade? maybe plus cash? just dont know how many people would want it, and how much more it is worth than an lt1 front end. thanks for the help

where you located and what color is the car? That would help just in case someone is just browsing and thought "Hey, I can do that if it was local" ... like me ... as for how a price on each setup? I don't know it depends on how much each person wants/likes it. Some people actually prefer the LT1 front end. If I was bored with my car and someone was offering a swap like that and I had nothing else to do, I'd swap just for fun but not to spend any money. You get the point I'm trying to make. I love my car and the way it looks right now with the new hood and all, but after the LS1 conversion, I wouldn't mind swapping front ends with a '98+ car just to complete it but I'm not about to put much money down for it 'cos I'm satisfied with what I have ... also, I'm just bored and throwing it out there.

if i had an ls1 id being doing the same(getting a newer front end) as soon as i get the car ill have to put it up for sale/ trade. by the way its red, also, im near detroit michigan

Im a little confused. You want to change the front end cause it doesnt match the motor? And in the end your going to sell it?
Its probably worth more wtih the LS1 front end on it.
