Default its a longshot...

..but, has anyone put Nissan 350Z seats in an Fbody?

I have some badass, black leather, full power seats out of an '06 350Z "track" model. Mounting points are way off but they will physically fit.

Just wondering if this has been done.

Throw up some pics. I'd like to see those. Fabrication is usually not rocket science.

Sure it hasn't been done, but if they physically fit, then it should be fairly easy

You can make adapter mounts to attach the seat to the stock floor mount points with 1/2" barstock steel (can buy that at Home Depot or similiar). If you can weld...then it's too easy. If not, cut the steel w/ a dremel, bend it/ w a vise to the proper shape, and then take the pieces to a local exhaust shop or garage to be welded. Should cost under $100 for both front brackets to get done.

As for wiring, you'll need both the wiring diagrams for the 350Z and the Camaro seats. You should be able to match the wires from that. Use the power seat connector from the old Camaro seats and adapt them to the 350Z seats. Then you can plug it into the car like factory.

Good luck. Should look pretty slick if you do it right

The 350Z seats hug really nice but aren't too stiff. I hope you do it and post some pics.
