Default Cupholder in LT1 T/A

As we all know the cupholder on the center console is a piece of junk.

I searched and found out that ls1 cars had more cupholders.

What have you guys with lt1's done to combat this?

I don't always drink in my car but it's done for sure.

A 97+ center console will fit in place of the 93-96 TA console and be a near perfect fit.

I've got a brushed aluminum insert that might work for you. I just don't have any LT1's around the check. Measure the inside diameter of your cup holder and let me know.

i used to have a 94 and that cup holder was purely useless for anything other than change!

well I can't have the cupholder in the same location, because having a drink there get in the way of shifting.

Do you have the rubber insert in the cup holder? I learned my lesson, no drinks in the car.

I use mine because I dip all the time. I get yelled at for leaving spit cans in the the wifes car.... I happen to come across a rubber insert at the parts store. Used it for awhile, then disaster struck when I slammed the brakes for an ambulance and copenhagen went everywhere. So I bought a center console with the flip out cup holder from a guy and it works great. I'm almost sure it was a 98-02 console. (automatic)

Might as well put out the money to get a 97+ center console they have 4 cup holders on them.
