Default Engine Dress Up

So, I am interested in exploring the different dress up options for the LS1 motor. I recently purchased my LE and I know nothing about what can be done to make the engine look nicer. Mine is completely stock looking.

I have experience with classic GM motors (specifically a 1969 396) but...these newer motors look much different. I know there is a "wing like" thing that people put over the valve cover area...I think they were stock on Corvettes.

Anyway, I was just looking for some general LS1 dress up information so I can look around and see if there is anything I want to do.

Thanks!!!

The 'wing' thing is referred to as 'fuel rail covers'.

There is a number of things that you can do to clean up your engine bay, like the wire hide mod, hiding the traction control, polishing the maf and tb, hiding the hood release wires, relocating the fuse boxes, and purchasing basically all of specialized stainless's inventory. You can do tons of things to the engine bay to really clean it up. Just search around on here.

There is a guy on here, I forget his name. He has the same car as you I believe and one of the sickest engine bays I have ever seen. I'm sure he will post up at some point.
