Default Berger panel how-to (sort of)

The latest mod I've done on my car is a Berger panel.

I found these letters on e-bay:

Here's how I did it. To remove the emblems, I used dental floss, after gently heating the area with a heat gun:

Then some degreaser to remove the glue:

Then some special degreaser to remove all wax from the whole panel before painting:

No photos for the rest but it was very simple: I wet sanded everything with 600 grit paper, removed the dust with a can of compressed air, then some Dupli-Color matt paint.

I had to paint it twice: first I did it in satin but didn't like the looks of it, it didn't contrast enough with my dark glossy paint. So I repainted it in matt black (flat black), which is what you see on the photos here.

That panel looks great. Makes me wish I had a Camaro so I could do it.

Also...for some reason, I'm really digging the bumper. Keep up the good work man

These are stainless steel inserts.

Actually my lights came like this from the factory. I'm not too sure for what country the "export" taillights were designed for?
