Default how easy is it to install white/silver gauge faces

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult, how much of a job is it to install some white or silver guage faces. I am very intersted in doing this mod but am curious to see how difficult a job it is and if any of the guages do not read properly after the install. Any help will be helpful. Thank you fellas

if a 1 is filling up gas and a 10 is a complete rebuild of the whole car, I'd give it a 2 or 3, only because when you take the old one off, you have to make a diagram of where your needles on the guages are pointing and put them right back in the same place, otherwise they'll read off, not hard at all though

If you go with MacEwen Motorsports gauges (www.macewenmotorsports.com) you don't have to remove the needles.

Install is not really hard, just more of a pain in the neck.

I have Macewan silverface overlays on my gauge cluster, HVAC controls, shifter position gauge, and light/dimmer switch They go on fairly easily and look great!!

If you get the ones from www.dynoproauto.com you wont need to remove the needles. They are overlays and just slide on over the needles. On the scale I would put them on a 3. Pics in my sig in the modifications folder.

I did a "write up" on my Website...feel free to use it if you need to. It's really not hard at all.

Wasn't hard for me. Shoulda only taken 30 min, but I couldn't figure out how to get the dash piece off. Then I found out it snaps off Once I got that off all was down hill. I went with NR White faced guages. Great quality. I did have to make the needle positions, got it wrong the first time, but got the speedo close enough to get it right on the second try. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 2.
