I'd give it a month just to be safe. If you're really impatient give it a couple weeks.

They should have baked the paint after they painted the car, so you can basically wash it right away (I waited a few days tho). As for waxing, 2-3 weeks after will be enough.

Some jerk hit my car... passenger side was all FUBAR, so it needed fixed, hence the re-painting.
But the car has always been Navy Blue Metallic.
Couldn't get quite enough out of the guy's insurance company for a full re-paint, heh.

If they car have been repainted and baked, you want to wait 6 weeks as a rule of thumb.

Considering how shiny new paint already it, I would just let the paint sit for 2 months, it's already clean. Just spray the dust off with water or something.

You can wash it right away. I bet the paint shop will wash it before you pick it up. They did on my truck. They told me to wait a month to wax it.

The only thing I had painted it my SS spoiler and it was blended into the fenders. My bodyman (which does awesome work ), said 2-3 weeks then you can wax.

We usually wash a car the day after we paint it, but we tell the customer wait for a month before waxing just to be safe
