Need Help deciding on Shifter for 68 Camaro
Hi guys. Well, the pro-ratchet is going to sell tomorrow on e-bay, so I better get a new shifter in the 68.
Here's what's in it now (f'ugly):
I'm deciding between these:
The B&M Hammer:
The Megashifter:
or the QuickSilver:
Keep in mind, I'm going to eventually build a custom center console around it, with a slot for an aftermarket stereo, and an area to re-route the painless wiring switches for the electric fan, and other goodies too.
I'm leaing towards the QuickSilver now, but let me know what you think, and if anyone has any experience with any of the above.
Thanks!
Jon

Definitely quicksilver out of those three. The others look too redneck for my tastes, and I drive a lifted truck and listen to country!

"out of those three", any other suggestions? I like the quicksilver best too.

my 35th came with the Hammer shift **** on it. It was loc-tite'd on and I had to use a pipe wrench to get that sucker off. I absolutely hated driving the car back from Austin with that shift **** on it, made my hand almost touch the radio in 1st, 3rd, 5th.
Looked kinda cheesy in a newer car
