I've always had good luck with good ole #7. It's probably been on the market longer than I've been alive!

Re: Best Chrome Polish?
I don't know where I heard this but someone told me once it is bad to WAX chrome. They said to only use windex and thats it. I can't see why it would be bad to use wax?

Re: Best Chrome Polish?
I've been waxing my chrome for years, you see that way every few days or so i just take a diaper and wipe it down in seconds, the dirt comes off easier. It would also benefit to have a few coats of wax on the chrome for the rainy weather as well.
Wax is a release agent,we use it on fiberglass tools at Boeing. We apply carnuba wax to the tool before doing a wet layup with epoxy resins. After it has cured 24 hrs.the parts pop right out of the tool,we have found that carnuba wax works best.
A buddy of mine worked for a dealership detailing cars.He came over one weekend(years ago)and we hand waxed my car...chrome and all, then we hand washed the car and used a toothbrush to remove the excess wax in the hard to get places. We then wiped the car down with a towel. That's how he was trained to hand wax a car.
