Default camaro interior thread

getting started on 4th gen camaro dash swap off a 02 camaro for my iroc
just wanted to get and idea of what you guys are working with where to find them such as gauge overlays in dashes and appearance in the interior center console switches. etc

brought from the dead
wondering if the dash pad on ls1 camaros and trans ams are the same. i have to cut one to fit











purchased a trans am gauge bezel hopefully shipped out soon and console lid. i need a shift **** got tired of my old one that kept moving around.

lol i bought a clester bezel off a member. not sure if im going to with overlays right now but those look good

Thanks. 6litereater has some really good looking gauges. They come in different color, like blue, red, yellow, etc... and the font is better looking than the stock font...

You could try a custom dash plaque. I think it definitely looks better than stock...

for now i went with the stock plaque. im not a big fan of his the colored gauges overlays i like the silver ones that they put on the trans ams though

damn that third gen interior looks great. not sure ive ever seen a TA with silver face gauges, ive only seen it aftermarket, and not many out there.

yeah its my second 4th gen swap on a 3rd gen . on my brothers we put on the silver overlays.. look really good. im still debatin though . right now im in the market for some seat and then audio

I really love your Iroc!! Nice car but can i ask why did you go with a 4th gen interior? I have owned 12 4th gens and always thought our cars had the shittiest interior ever

i did it because it was easy just had to find the time to do it. .
.. i got tired of my old squared dash. on the freeway it would too much vibration . maybe next summer ill change over to the trans am dash . i doubt it though .

i went from this to that ..

Badass looking interior. Why the heck did you ask about installing a shift lite if you can do stuff like this? That is an impressive looking undertaking, I like it.

And the Granatelli 200mph gauges were like $300 and they are not made anymore.

I bought white overlays for my cluster for $20ish on ebay and a white face headlight and hvac plate fast for another $20ish
