... every time you use it, you'll be saying WOW! lol

yea, it's a good deal if they work or not you get like 8 shammys for 20 bucks. it would be even a better deal if they actually worked like they say.

anyone use them yet??

Am I really admitting to this?

I guess. . . .

I have some still around the house.

They worked very well untill I washed them, then it started to fall appart.

Absorbs like a mother though. I still like the microfiber better. Use a heavy towel to dry and microfiber to polish.

I love the absorber. I have one for every car. Just need to ring it out good when it gets to wet to absorb anymore.

I use the absorber as well, and it works fine. But hey, the guy with the weird face says that everyone knows the germans make great stuff, right?

So, here's the thing. It's basically the same as the absorber.

In favor of the absorber:
We know a fresh absorber is clean and won't scratch up your car if kept clean. We know this because many people on this site use it.

In favor of the Shamwow:
A few dollars cheaper.

So are you willing to risk swirling up your whole car to save a couple bucks? For me it aint' worth it until more people can confirm it won't swirl. I wouldn't assume that just because they look the same, they are the same.

I think the Shamwow is garbage for drying cars. I used mine one time, now they are just shop rags.

Absorbers are good, if you keep them 100% free of dirt.

My experience with the Absorber was once it got wet it would always leave water behind on the surface and would never dry like good quality chamois. I ended up throwing it away.

I would not recommend one at all. very low quality, imo.

Furthermore, even an absorber is not the best thing for the paint.

Best for the paint is a sheeting the water, then a blower, then blot dry the rest with a high quality waffle weave MF.

slightly better is to sheet the water off, then blot dry with the WW and skip the blower.

using a chamois or an absorber can cause issues due to the lack of nap. if everythign is perfectly clean, then you susually won't have problems ..

but why take a chance?

I have the absorber, works great. I don't see how anyone would buy that shamwow. The guy selling it is an ******* and acts like he's doing you a favor. "But if you call now, becuase I mean we can't do this all day. We'll give you 8 gillion shamwow for the price of one" Yea sounds like a quality piece in my book.
