I have them, work better than ledgauges and way cheaper. My ledgauges one are very tempermental and only like to work when they want to. The supervtec ones are in my civic and have been through a freakin tropical storm and still worked.

They don't suck, I have them in my fogs and my lows, but for what the kit is, its pretty expensive.

I dunno bout you guys I'd much rather spend the extra money and get a direct fit kit and not worry about cutting the wires.

You only have to cut a power and a ground wire, it takes 5 minutes. The direct fit kit is $350+

Yeah you could just use a quick splice to tap into the wire, then run your own power wire to the new lights. Your going to have to crimp on connectors at the end.

I would assume all I would have to do is run power to power and ground to ground not run a seperate power.

A lot of kits are plug and play, I have a custom made harness for my fog lights and my headlights with relays built in and so on. Before I did this only one of the LEDgauges ones would work, even then they still only like to come on every now and then.

If you would want to keep the factory harness intact, splice into the power, crimp on a connector, connect the power to the prong on the HID kit, and do the same for the ground. Just leave the factory harness off to the side, and run your new wires to the kit. It's supposed to be a harness plugging into the HID kit, but the connectors will hold on there just fine.
