Default Black Bra on a Black Trans Am

how would this look?
im thinking about getting the one from http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/colcuspontra.html made by colgan. mostly the only reason i want this is to cover up the bad areas of paint. (worn down to white on both sides of bumper and crack in paint under the driving light.)

i could see it for a track day event but not for a DD. they trap way to much dirt and crap between them and can act like sandpaper on the front clip

i would do that but the rest of the paint isnt the best. (bumper is the worst though) but i picked up the car for 5k out the door and i really dont feel like spendin 2500 on a new paint job.

Sorry, I think it looks like ***.

I bought a front bra like this for my 1997 Black Ram Air Trans AM back in the day. It took away all of the features of the front end of the car, I removed the bra and stored it away for life. Yes, it would have been useful if driving on a long trip tho.

Anyway, the LS1 front end being even more busy than the LT1 styles, it just doesnt work for me.

I'd get the front end re-painted, just as I did last month. Removal of the noise, painted and re-install cost me $450. Looks brand stinking new!! Money well spent IMO.

Whatever you don't let it get wet and then dry because I had one discolor the whole front bumper on an older trans am (it was the exact same brand even though I don't think it had anything to do with that). I vowed to never use one again. Just my .02

I'd repaint the bumper, bras are just good for long trips and to keep the stupid bugs away from it. Also, you'll have to take it off and clean underneath once in a while, if not it'll discolor your front bumper from the rest of the car.
